Despite the weather, the day Janice and Patrick said “I do” was a day they’ll never forget. On the day of their wedding Janice and Patrick were surrounded by 220 of their family and friends in Toronto.
Janice and Patrick met in a computer engineering program at university. They bonded over late night study sessions and chatted about their favourite TV shows and movies.
After dating for 5 years, Patrick took Janice to Disney World and proposed to her during the fireworks display at Magic Kingdom.
On the day of their wedding the weather forecast was calling for cold temperatures and rain, but that didn’t stop Janice and Patrick from having one of their favourite wedding moments. “We had planned to take pictures at the Edwards Gardens and it was pouring outside all morning, but thankfully the rain let up in the afternoon and the sun came out just in time,” says Janice. “This was a memorable moment for us because we felt happy to be surrounded with our friends and family and just took some time out to have fun.”
The couple’s favourite wedding detail was the success of their photo booth. The bride wrote her own photo booth software program to automate the process and her friends helped bring up the equipment and display on the day of the wedding. “It was so much fun,” says Patrick.
