It was a day full of picture-perfect vintage elegance when Angela and Zack said “I do” in Niverville, Manitoba surrounded by 180 of their closest family and friends.
Zack and Angela met playing a co-ed volleyball tournament together, and it was love at first sight. They dated for three months and then took a trip to California together to visit friends. While in Newport Beach, they went out one night and walked along the boardwalk to watch the sunset. They decided to just keep walking and ended up on a little island near the marina. When Angela turned around on the dock, Zack was asking her to marry him. Angela of course said yes, and they quickly called a friend to pick them up. Their friends already knew and showed up with ice cream and champagne to celebrate.
One of the couple’s favourite wedding moments was seeing each other for the first time. “I couldn’t wait to see him,” says Angela. “We pulled up to where he was waiting and his back was turned. I immediately teared up. The moment when you first see each other on your wedding day is magical. We both cried a bit, laughed a bit, stared at each other and couldn’t stop kissing! We knew it was going to be the best day of our lives.”
One of the most memorable wedding details at Angela and Zack’s wedding was their décor. “The décor was our favourite part, and everything was perfectly designed by Peggy Wiebe from The Little Flower Shop,” says Angela.
