Throwing a bridal shower for the bride-to-be may seem like a challenge, but it doesn’t have to be. Here’s an easy checklist to help you keep on track:
Talk to the bride: It really does start off that simple. Where does she want the shower? Will it be co-ed or does the bride want to keep things between the girls? Keep the idea of a themed shower in mind!
Set the date: Make sure to chat with the bride and other bridesmaids to make sure the date works for everyone’s schedule – we all know how busy life can get.
Create a guest list: Try to keep the guest list as small or as large as the bride is comfortable with.
Send out save the dates: Keep in mind that the sooner you send them the easier it will be for guests to make sure they are available.
Establish a budget: Discuss it with the bridesmaids, make sure everything is clear and it works for everyone.
Send Invitations: These can be sent as early as a month in advance. Be sure to put down information on registries, theme, gift giving procedure etc.
Will guests be bringing food or drinks? If so make sure to call to confirm with them at least a week in advance.
Confirmations: A week in advance make sure to have everything else confirmed. These include; reservations, deliveries, RSVPS etc.
