Frank and Antonella met through a mutual friend who thought these two were made for each other. And boy, was that mutual friend right! After two years of dating, Frank proposed on Easter Sunday in 2012 in front of his entire family…about 35 people. It was a complete surprise, as Frank didn’t tell anyone, not even his parents. “It was an amazing moment, everyone was in shock, there were tears, but everyone was so happy for us,” says Frank.
The groom’s favourite moment from the big day was watching his soon-to-be wife walk down the aisle. “When she got to the altar the first thing I said to her was ‘Hey Beautiful’,” says the groom. The bride’s favourite moment was when she and Frank made their grand entrance at the reception. “The reaction we got was amazing and all I was thinking was, ‘Ok we’re here, we made it – let’s give everyone a wedding reception they’ll never forget’,” says Antonella.
A moment worth mentioning was a surprise for both the bride and groom. In between speeches, several members of Frank and Antonella’s family gathered in the centre of the dancefloor, as a flash mob, to perform a number for the happy couple.
As for the couple’s favourite wedding details, the decor at their reception stands out. “The decor on our head table, the linens, flowers, centrepieces…it was all so fantastic,” says the bride.
