Nearly a decade ago, Janessa started a new job in a restaurant where Chris worked in the kitchen. The two worked together for a few weeks before Chris offered to drive Janessa home from work one night. The next morning, Chris called Janessa asking her to go out for ice cream. The rest was history!
After seven years together, getting to know each other’s hopes and dreams, Chris proposed at Janessa’s birthday party in front of 20 of their friends and family. “The proposal was a complete surprise, and it was perfect,” recalls Janessa.
The bride’s favourite wedding moment took place with her parents as she began her walk down the aisle. “It was beautiful to be able to do that with both of them and the pictures of us together on the aisle turned out amazing,” says Janessa. “Also, seeing Chris smile as I walked towards him was one of the best moments of my life.”
The couple’s favourite wedding detail? Simply put, Janessa says, “I am so happy with how everything turned out that I wouldn’t change a single thing!”
