Kelsey and Laura met accidentally at a restaurant in St. Catharines. She mistakenly waved at Kelsey, whom she thought was a friend. Despite realizing the error, Laura’s friend dragged her over and introduced them to one another. That night they fell in love, and five years later, on October 23, the couple was married.
They chose to exchange vows at Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas in Los Cabos, Mexico in a romantic beach setting before 60 guests. They chose red-orange, chocolate brown and cream lace as their colours.
Their favourite wedding moment followed their first dance, when they invited their guests to join them on the dance floor for a special group dance under the stars. “Some slow-danced, some swayed and sang, some played their air guitar and some captured the moment on camera,” remembers the bride. They looked around and felt fulfilled by such an unforgettable moment. “We had created something special for everyone to feel a part of then and always. It truly set the tone for an incredible evening ahead.
