During the pandemic, with the closure of wedding venues, people took to their cottages and backyards for wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions. And the trend continues, particularly for those who want a very intimate wedding celebration. Some people love to get back to nature and go with simplicity.
Christina Velasco was behind the lens for this shoot and explains the inspiration. “The idea for an elopement by the lake was inspired by the venue, a secluded location surrounded by nature and close to the city,” she says. “We emphasized the minimalist beauty of the table setup and décor, combined with the sunset and lake to create a romantic and dreamy atmosphere. We hope to inspire couples who want an intimate elopement but prefer the comfort of city amenities and the beauty of nature.”
