A ceremony for two can be really intimate and meaningful. But a reception for two is just all kinds of romantic, especially if it’s in a tiny greenhouse as the sun sets. And with couples looking for unique ways to celebrate their wedding, this is certainly an option.
This magical shoot was dreamed up as Changing the Lens workshop – a styled shoot educational event focused around inclusivity and anti-oppressive business practices in the photography and wedding industries
“Changing the Lens was born out of a desperate need for conversations around how to cultivate safe space for queer love in an industry that has historically only celebrated one type of couple,” says Amber Farrington of Honey and Lux. “As we see more and more vendors wanting to be inclusive (which is incredible!) we also see them not knowing where to begin with true allyship. Often asking questions about what language to use or how to build connections without coming across as tokenizing or exploiting. We discuss the ways in which queerness intersects with other identities and experiences that are also barred from accessing this industry at a full and celebratory capacity.”
