Sara and Troy met while working part-time jobs in high school. They dated six years before the big day,when they had an intimate ceremony and reception at Casino Rama Hotel in Orillia, Ont.
Guests flew in from all over the world to witness the vows. The couple presented a special ring to Troy’s daughter Kennedy, to symbolize their bond as a new family.
A black and white theme surrounded the couple, including the cake, table settings, chair covers and white hydrangea and calla lilies.Instead of numbered tables, each table was named after their loved ones that had passed, and rather than give favours to their 150 guests, donations were made to The Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Diabetes Association and the SPCA.
