Smaller weddings are definitely in. If you’re creating an intimate wedding reception table (or maybe several tables, socially distanced), here are a few ways to make the tables special.
- Any outdoor structure can double as a wedding venue. Think, simple wooden structures, gazebos, park pavillions. Just having walls or a roof turns the outdoor space into a “wedding location” rather than “random space in park”. Even a tree can create a makeshift roof.
- Go overboard with décor, particularly the tableware. Having the right plates, cutlery and glasses can make a big impact.
- Think about floral installations. Centrepieces are beautiful, of course, but a show-stopping arrangement hanging above your table can add major drama.
- Don’t forget the lighting. String up as many lights as possible, and if the weather permits, add candles – the more lighting the better!
