Larissa and Adrian grew up around the corner from each other but didn’t decide to date until their early 20s, and then there was magic!
The wedding had a Scottish theme; the bride wore a six pence coin in her shoe, her garter was made of the Chalmers’ family tartan, the bouquet had white heather, the groom’s sister read a Scottish love poem and a bagpiper waited on the 10th fairway of Islington Golf Club in Toronto to pipe them down the aisle at the outdoor service.
At the Islington Golf & Country Club, a wishing tree was set up, inviting the 150 guests to write a personal note to the couple. To persuade the couple to kiss, guests had to correctly answer a trivia question about Larissa and Adrian.
