Jennifer and Michael were married at Loyola Chapel, on Concordia University’s campus, where the bride’s parents had been married. As they signed the registry, the organist played Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’.
The Pierrefonds Cultural Centre welcomed 120 guests. The theme combined apples with the couple’s initials, which was woven into all of their stationery: invitations, programs, wine labels, cupcake flags and thank-you cards. A photo booth was set up and every guest had fun smiling for the camera.
Work obligations made it necessary to postpone the honeymoon, so the couple hid out in their apartment for a few days, watched movies and ordered takeout while they decompressed.
