It’s a big deal – and a great honour – when guests agree to travel some distance to attend your wedding. In turn, let them know how much their attendance means to you.
Breakfast basket
Deliver a welcoming basket to their hotel with bagels, muffins or scones, a small jar of preserves, bottles of juice, knives, and pretty paper plates and napkins. Don’t forget a note telling them how special it is to have them with you.
Goodbye gift bag
Fill a pretty gift bag with a bottle of local wine and a few treats, such as chocolates, cookies and candy and include a personal note.
Adopt a guest
It’s a nice gesture to have a local guest pick them up at their hotel and accompany them to the wedding and reception.
