Getting married outside? Here are a few fashion tips to keep in mind.
Throw Shade
If it’s super sunny, let the wedding party wear sunglasses! Matching shades on your maids would be oh-so-cute.
Consider the Guests
Keep your guests aware of your wedding environment so they can dress appropriately. Provide fans, umbrellas, blankets or flip flops if necessary.
Unveiled
Veils can be more trouble than they are worth on a windy day. Go with a short veil, or better yet, no veil.
Hot Hot Heat
Dress appropriately for warm weather. A too-tight dress might leave you feeling overheated and light-headed. Go flowy – something with air circulation. And don’t forget about the wedding party. Your bridesmaids will love you if they can wear something short, and groomsmen can go without the tux jacket.
Too cool?
Remember that temperatures can drop, and while a sleeveless gown seems like a great idea, know that you may have to cover it up with a shawl if weather is unexpectedly cool. Plan ahead!
Choose the Right Shoes
If your outdoor ceremony takes you across a lawn, stilettos won’t do. Pass this info onto your bridesmaids, too.
