Steve and Agatha met on a dating website five years ago. “Yes, it can work!” says the bride. She immediately loved how Steve made her laugh. “He still does – every day.”
The couple, who counts competitive karaoke among their hobbies, got engaged after two years and have a son together, Ben, 18 months. Ben was the highlight at their intimate wedding at the Paletta Mansion. “After the ceremony was over and the minister announced us as husband and wife, Ben ran to where we were standing clapping and yelling, ‘Ya!’ It was the best moment ever,” says Agatha.
The couple created many DIY ideas for their wedding, from the menus to the ceremony programs and cake toppers. Instead of bouquets for the bridesmaids, they ordered grey and pink personalized clutches to coordinate with the wedding colours. “Everyone at the wedding (including the vendors) was either family or friends,” says Agatha. “This really made everything special and intimate, just like a big house party.”
