Michael and Kaitlyn St. Pierre
This couple always knew they wanted a winter wedding. Folks called them crazy, but they stuck to their guns. Kaitlyn says, “We are an outdoorsy, winter-loving couple and knew there was no better way to showcase our love then to go out on frozen Lake Simcoe. We had the best of both worlds – a winter wonderland and a tropical greenhouse.”
What was your favourite part of the day? Photos on Lake Simcoe with the wedding party and dancing the night away under the stars in the greenhouse.
Tell us about any unique aspects: I felt our day was unique from start to finish. From getting ready at my grandparent’s house where my parents got married, to treking onto the lake for stunning photos and setting off smoke bombs, to getting married in a tropical greenhouse with the most beautiful blooms and blossoms in mid-winter.
What will guests remember most? The stunning ceremony space – a tunnel of vines and flowers. For 200 people, it felt so intimate.
