There’s an app for almost anything; some even help you find the perfect mate! There are fabulous resources, whether you have an iPhone, an iPad or an Android device. You can build a website, create a blog to share the latest news and photos, set up a gift registry and track budgets and honeymoon details.
Appycouple.com
This allows you to share content with your guests: hotel and flight information, RSVP details, gift registry, events calendar, pictures and videos. Start by setting up your own website, then invite your guests to join. Once they download the free app, they can add content, too. This one is the only one on our list that you have to pay for. Buy the wedding website and wedding app together in a bundle.

Our Wedding Planner
This app helps you create budgets, task lists, develop seating plans, vendor lists – even pie charts of current spending and where you’re spending your money. You can import contacts and add customizable widgets.

Pinterest.com
Be inspired. So many people use Pinterest to collect and share images and ideas that it seems a natural resource to turn to. Users find and “pin” images of things that inspire them. Search under “wedding” to see what others have posted and you’ll find great ideas for table settings, guest favours, church decorations, outdoor weddings … the list is endless.

Weddingpartyapp.com
This is like your own personal social media site – collect photos from friends, family and guests and keep them updated on wedding events. Share registry and accommodation details and organize your photos into albums. Guests can also meet and share stories.

Giftster
This makes gift-giving easy for your guests and gives you the flexibility of asking for things from more than one store. First, invite your friends and family to join. You don’t all have to have the same type of device – it works on desktops as well as iPhone/iPad or Android devices. Then create your wish list. This one’s touted as a “lifetime” wish list because you can use it for birthdays or anniversaries, too.
