Our editors went out for lunch and after a glass of wine (or two), began comparing the
type of wedding we would organize for the biggest celebrities. We decided to share
three of these ‘weddings’ with you because our musings illustrate, once again, how all
weddings should reflect the personality and lifestyle of the bridal couple.
Angelina Jolie
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are finally getting married!
They are restless world travellers. We see them getting
married in a castle in Europe. Their six children play a
starring role, perhaps lighting family candles. The oldest,
Maddox, stands up with his dad. The centrepiece at
the reception is a huge ice scupture, paying homage to
Brad’s passion for architecture. We see Angelina, who
always does the unexpected, in a red body-hugging
gown. Her lips, of course, in brilliant red.
Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lopez would be entering
into a fourth marriage and might run
away to Puerto Rico with family and
friends to avoid a media circus. Her
four-year-old twins would certainly
be included in the ceremony. She
adores clothes and we see her
choosing a dress that reflects her
Latin roots. Count on it being a gown
that is fun, fabulous and highlights
her best ‘assets’. We wouldn’t be
surprised if she entertained her
guests with a Brazilian dance to get
them on their feet.
George Clooney
George Clooney tried marriage once and didn’t
like it. The life span of most of his relationships
is two years. If he – finally – did the deed, our
editors see him getting married at his Italian
villa on Lake Como with only family and close
friends. Afterward, his 50 guests would climb
aboard a private yacht. Bring your sunglasses
to this black-tie affair because the party will go
on to sunrise.
