Nestled in the heart of nature’s embrace, Caledon Mountain Events Venue in Caledon, Ontario, just 30 minutes north of Toronto, served as the canvas for a dreamy-styled summer wedding shoot that transcends the ordinary. Guided by the creative vision of Lisa K Events, every element of this shoot was meticulously curated to capture the essence of romance.
Lisa, the mastermind behind the shoot, envisioned a modern affair in an exquisite colour palette featuring sandy tones, nudes, soft whites and cream hues, muted tangerine shades and earthy forest greens. And with Caledon Mountain Events’ 360-degree skyline and valley views, this dreamy affair proved nothing short of breathtaking.
The ceremony was arranged at The Meadow at Caledon Mountain venue, an expansive lawn and scenic outdoor ceremony setting. Seating was designed to allow the beauty of the environment to shine through by using Rosdof Park Cross Back Clear Chairs. Each row featured a small floral arrangement, which created the most romantic aisle. But the real showstopper of the venue was the deconstructed floral arch, positioned in front of gorgeous 360-degree views.
During this shoot, the bride wore two gowns, showcasing how to pull off two different looks for one wedding. The first look, an Olana gown from Enzoani, had a fit and flare silhouette and was adorned with off-the-shoulder lace straps and a tulle cape sleeve that resonated with the airy theme.
The second look featured a Nanelle gown from Enzoani, which added a dash of drama. The Mikado fit and flare gown had a mesh back and a detachable bow detail train and was paired with a long, elegant ponytail and a cathedral-style veil embellished with ivory pearls.
But the magic of this shoot extended beyond the bridal couture. The tablescapes were a visual feast, featuring velvet tablecloths in a romantic soft gold colour and a captivating mix of matted plating, gold flatware, and ribbed glassware. Vases with a floral ensemble sat in white ceramic bowl and were accompanied by smaller ikebana arrangements.
The floral symphony seen throughout this event included crème de la crème roses, tulips, white butterfly ranunculuses, spirea, hellebores, quicksand roses, sandy-coloured spray roses, brown lisianthuses, and white Astrantias.
And then, there was the cake — a marvel in pure white, adorned with showstopper florals and greenery cascading from tier to tier. Cake pops and donuts dressed in fresh florals and edible pearls added a delightful and tasty touch.
The stationery was also a visual treat, with two looks enhancing the tablescape. A half-moon menu card and sliding name card, paired with sand cheese cloth napkins, offered an elegant first option. The second featured willow poly napkins, rectangular menu cards, and custom square chocolate bars as favours.
