With Covid-19, our 2020 couple Jenny and Joel decided to move their wedding to 202,1 but with the Covid-19 pandemic and cases rising, they started to feel unsure about their 2021 wedding. They said “Why wait? Let’s celebrate now!”
They then took great measures to reduce their wedding from 300 guests to 30 guests (to be within Vancouver, BC’s Covid-19 order at the time), but 2 weeks prior to their wedding, a new order was issued in which only 10 guests were permitted at weddings, including all vendors. Again, rather than wait, the couple proceeded with their wedding.
Michelle Chan & Lisa Lee-Truong of Elope With Us wanted to help with the disappointment. “It broke our hearts as planners that they weren’t able to have a full wedding experience, so we asked them to be our models for our microwedding styled shoot. An opportunity for them to have a beautiful tablescape and beautiful photos for keepsake.”
