Charlotte and Judah invited 100 guests to share their wedding and reception at Rockway Glen Winery Estates in Lincoln, Ontario. This was a coming together of cultures; Charlotte is Finnish and Judah is Portuguese. They incorporated both languages into their ceremony, with Bible readings by close family members.
Both Charlotte’s and Judah’s fathers had passed away, so the couple had memorial candles representing both fathers close to them throughout the service and the reception. The bride walked down the aisle with her mother.
The outdoor ceremony was by the vineyards with cello and violin supplying the music. Their colour scheme was Tiffany blue and silver, with Charlotte’s gown custom-made by a friend. After the service, the guests had cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and, of course, wine-tasting in the cellars. Each guest received a personalized bottle of wine.The couple left the reception in a 1965 vintage Rolls Royce and then honeymooned in the Riviera Maya at the El Dorado Seaside Resort.
