Kerri and Carmelo were married outside the Royal Ambassador before 150 guests. As the couple shared their first kiss after the ceremony, butterflies were released. In keeping with their green theme, the flowers were green orchids, hydrangeas and lotus flowers. Caramel apples were given out as gifts to their guests. Cookies, with the name of each guest in icing, were the place cards.
The guests enjoyed the venue and food. Flowers and decor were created by Carmelo’s brother Giancarlo, from The Flower Workshop. One thing didn’t go quite as planned. “The hall used salt in the dessert instead of sugar, which made for an interesting dessert and something that will be talked about for years to come!” laughs the bride. After the wedding, the newlyweds honeymooned in Niagara Falls.
