Get a glimpse of the past at the Cape Henry Lighthouse, which dates back to 1791.
The Sandler Center for the Performing Arts is in the town centre. It has a European feel, with only 30 metres separating the front of the stage and the farthest seat in the house.
The historic houses are fascinating: The Adam Thoroughgood House (circa 1680), The Lynnhaven House, the Ferry Plantation House and the Francis Land House give a satisfying taste of history.
