Jennifer and Josh met 10 years ago when each was camping with their own friends – but they forgot to exchange phone numbers! Fate intervened when, six months later, they ran into each other in a bar and they went on their first date the next day.
For years, they camped, explored and then, when they were on vacation in Mexico, Josh proposed.
They wanted a natural ‘beachy’ feel in neutral colours for their wedding and chose Haciena Pinilla in Costa Rica.
Jennifer created her own table numbers and escort and napkin cards.
They thought that getting a cake locally might be a problem, so the couple took cake baking classes together and baked their own cake. However, they forgot to bring a rolling pin for the fondant icing, so rolled it out with a wine bottle. A celebratory touch!
