Lindsey had a big crush on Robert in high school, but knew that he viewed her as just one of his little sister’s friends. Years went by and they met again at a party. When the party was over, Robert offered to drive her to the subway, they shared a brief hug, he made no mention of their meeting again and each went home.
Then Lindsey made a decision that changed both of their lives. She thought, “Why don’t I just ask him out?” She called to thank him for the ride and extended an invitation. Robert said, “Yes” and they have been together ever since.
They’d dated for six years when Rob proposed on a beautiful staircase in Edinburgh, Scotland. They felt they were living a real-life fairytale and wanted a wedding to match.
The theme was an English garden with colour touches of gold, silver and rose and cascading ombre flowers in the main hall of Graydon Hall Manor. A nice touch was the calligraphy on all the written material along with the Monet-inspired ceremony. Their favourite moment was their first dance under the stars, surrounded by all the people they cared about, with sparklers glowing as they danced to Neil Young’s “Harvest Moon”.
