CanadianBride.com (the Service) is an online service for adults. You must be 18 years of age or older to use CanadianBride.com. CanadianBride.com is owned and operated by Milestone Net Media Inc. a Family Communications venture, 65 The East Mall, Toronto ON, M8Z 5W3.
This is a legal agreement (Agreement) between you and Milestone Net Media Inc. Please read the Agreement carefully before registering for the CanadianBride.com Service. By registering for this Service, you become a Member of CanadianBride.com (Member), and you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement (the Terms) for as long as you continue to be a Member. As used in the Agreement, the terms we, us and our refer to Milestone Net Media Inc. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS, PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER FOR CanadianBride.com. THE TERMS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE BY Milestone Net Media Inc. AT ANY TIME.
By becoming a Member, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. MINORS MAY NOT BECOME MEMBERS.
Membership may be terminated at any time by either the Member or the Service for any reason, without explanation, effective upon sending written notice to the other party. We reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate your access to the Service, without notice, upon any breach of this Agreement by you, which is brought to Our attention.
Membership is non-transferable. Your membership in the Service is for your sole, personal use. It is not permissible to authorize others to use your membership, and you may not assign or otherwise transfer your account to any other person or entity.
CODE OF CONDUCT:
As a Member, you agree that:
1. Members bear sole responsibility for the content or information that they publish or display (hereinafter, post) on the Service, or transmit to other members.
2. Members will not post on the Service, or transmit to other members or employees, any obscene, profane, offensive, sexually oriented, threatening, harassing, racially offensive, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, or illegal material, or any material that infringes or violates another party’s rights (including, but not limited to, intellectual property rights, and rights of privacy and publicity).
3. Members will use the Service in a manner consistent with any and all applicable laws and regulations.
4. Members will not include in their webpages any telephone numbers, street addresses, last names, URL’s or E-mail addresses other than where asked for it in the Confidential Personal Information section of the website.
5. Members will not include in their webpages any offensive anatomical or sexual references, or offensive sexually suggestive or connotative language, and will not post any photos containing nudity or personal information. We reserve the right, but have no obligation to reject any profile or photo that does not comply with these prohibitions.
6. Members will not engage in advertising to, or solicitation of, other members to buy or sell any products or services through the Service. Members will not transmit any chain letters or junk email to other members.
7. Members will not post, distribute or reproduce in any way any copyrighted material, trademarks, or other proprietary information without obtaining the prior consent of the owner(s) of such proprietary rights.
8. Members are solely responsible for their interactions with other members. We reserve the right, but have no obligation to monitor and/or mediate disputes between members.
INDEMNITY BY MEMBER: Members will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Service, its officers, directors, employees, agents and third parties, for any losses, costs, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) relating to or arising out of your use of the Service, including any breach by you of the terms of this Agreement.
ONLINE CONTENT:
THE SERVICE DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR USEFULNESS OF ANY INFORMATION ON THE SERVICE AND NEITHER ADOPTS NOR ENDORSES, NOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF ANY OPINION, ADVICE, OR STATEMENT MADE BY PARTIES OTHER THAN THE SERVICE. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL THE SERVICE BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE RESULTING FROM ANYONE’S RELIANCE ON INFORMATION OR OTHER CONTENT POSTED ON THE SERVICE, OR TRANSMITTED TO MEMBERS.
WARNING – PLEASE READ THIS: It is possible that other members or users (including unauthorized users, or hackers) may post or transmit offensive or obscene materials on the Service and that you may be involuntarily exposed to such offensive and obscene materials. It also is remotely possible for others to obtain personal information about you due to your use of the Service, and that the recipient may use such information to harass or injure you. The Service is not responsible for the use of any personal information that you disclose on the Service. Please carefully select the type of information that you post on the Service or release to others.
THE SERVICE RESERVES THE RIGHT, BUT HAS NO OBLIGATION TO MONITOR THE MATERIALS POSTED IN THE PUBLIC AREAS OF THE SERVICE. THE SERVICE SHALL HAVE THE RIGHT TO REMOVE ANY SUCH MATERIAL THAT IN ITS SOLE OPINION VIOLATES, OR IS ALLEGED TO VIOLATE THE LAW OR THIS AGREEMENT. NOTWITHSTANDING THIS RIGHT OF THE SERVICE, YOU REMAIN SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONTENT OF THE MATERIALS YOU POST IN THE PUBLIC AREAS OF THE SERVICE AND IN YOUR PRIVATE EMAIL MESSAGES. EMAILS SENT BETWEEN YOU AND OTHER MEMBERS THAT ARE NOT READILY ACCESSIBLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC WILL BE TREATED AS PRIVATE BY THE SERVICE TO THE EXTENT REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
PROPRIETARY RIGHTS: The Service contains information, which is proprietary to Us and Our users. The Service owns and retains other proprietary rights in the Service. The Service contains the copyrighted material and trademarks of the Service. We invoke full copyright protection over these materials.
INFORMATION SUPPLIED BY MEMBERS: The Service will keep confidential all information supplied by you to us unless otherwise specified in the “TERMS OF USE”.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY: THIS SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN AS IS BASIS AND GRANTS NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. THE SERVICE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THIS SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR FREE. THE SERVICE DISCLAIMS LIABILITY FOR, AND NO WARRANTY IS MADE WITH RESPECT TO, CONNECTIVITY AND AVAILABILITY.

AS A RESULT, THE SERVICE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL AND/OR CONSEQUENTIAL, ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THIS SERVICE, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF COMMUNICATING AND/OR MEETING WITH OTHER MEMBERS OF THIS SERVICE, OR INTRODUCED TO YOU VIA THIS SERVICE. We do not actively moderate or edit postings to this board so we do not warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any posting. You are fully responsible for the content of your postings so please govern yourself accordingly.
Politeness Policy
All members must understand and accept, prior to using these forums, that these are public forums. We encourage you to maintain a respectful, friendly, polite tone when posting. This talk board is supposed to be a helpful community where everyone is welcome. Don’t flame someone for his or her opinions. When you post on a public forum you are going to get a range of responses and you may not agree with them all. Offensive language, name-calling, racial or ethnic slurs, slander or any other negative comments will not be tolerated. There is a report button on every post and thread and members will report to us all offensive comments/materials posted. If you do not follow these rules your posts will be deleted without notice and your membership can be revoked at anytime without notification.
Vendor Review Policy
While we want you to share your experiences with each other we are implementing some rules surrounding posting vendor reviews.
CanadianBride.com is not responsible for any comments made by members with regards to comments about vendors – good or bad. On the other hand, you are completely responsible for your postings and any liability that may result. Govern yourself accordingly. Be careful not to post anything that may be false, libellous or defamatory. By posting on these boards you agree to indemnify us and hold us harmless from any loss resulting from your postings. Please do not voice your personal grievances on the forums. We discourage members posting anything that isn’t your own personal experience. Do not post hearsay, as it cannot be verified by you personally. You are taking someone’s livelihood and putting it into jeopardy by passing on a story that may or may not be true. Just because another member says it’ true does not mean it is so.
If a vendor contacts us requesting a negative review be removed we will do so immediately. We will not get involved in vendor/customer disputes, and we will not allow members to use the boards as leverage in threatening vendors with bad publicity. Threads or posts in question will be removed without notice.
When reading posts from other members, please do not believe everything you read, and put any negative comments in the context of other information you have. Remember that very few, if any, businesses can claim to have 100% customer satisfaction. Please do not participate in threads that violate our policies as this only draws more attention to the thread by keeping it at the top of the forum. Please use the ‘Report’ feature on every post throughout the forums to notify us of any post or thread you feel violates these policies.
The opinions expressed in these forums do not necessarily reflect the opinions of the site owner, forum moderators or administrators. CanadianBride.com cannot be held responsible for any opinions expressed on the talk board system, nor can it be held responsible for the safety of its members.
Vendor Posting Policy
Vendors are not permitted to post about their services off the Vendor Forum itself. They cannot have their business contact information in their signature regardless of where they are posting.
If you wish to advertise with us on CanadianBride.com please contact us at Sales@canadianbride.com. Any vendor found soliciting business of any kind, anywhere off the Vendor Forum can and will have their posts deleted immediately and their membership revoked at anytime without warning.
If you are a vendor, but are also planning your own wedding, please feel free to participate in all sections of the Forums but do not refer to your professional products or services at any time.
Signature Policy
The use of tickers and image-based signatures can significantly slow down the operation of online forums like ours. Accordingly, CanadianBride.com does not permit images to be uploaded to user signatures. They must be strictly text-based. If you do upload a ticker or other image-based signature to your profile it will be removed without notice.
Vendors cannot have their business contact information in their signature regardless of where they are posting.
Other
We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message. You agree that neither these forums, nor any person or entity associated with them will be held responsible for any content.
You agree that you will not use our forums to post any material or links to any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threaten, invasive of a persons privacy, or otherwise in violation of any law.
You agree that you will not post copyrighted content without the express permission of the copyright holder. Advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes and solicitations are also inappropriate in this forum. We reserve the right to remove, edit, close or move any post for any reason at our discretion.
