When Ali accompanied Kristin’s family on a vacation to Jamaica, she thought it was nothing more than a family getaway. Little did she know that, with her family’s help, he had a special surprise in store – a proposal! He proposed in the centre of the hotel under a gazebo surrounded by ponds and gardens. The bride’s family watched from their balcony taking pictures and recording the whole thing.
The two were married on September 15, 2012 at Deer Creek Golf and Banquet Facility in Ajax, Ontario. Planning was a breeze and the whole colour theme, dark purple and white, really came together with the final details. The couple’s centrepieces and bouquets were some of the bride’s favourite details from the day.
Kristin’s favourite moment was “seeing [her] future husband from afar while walking down the aisle, thinking ‘This is it… this is what I’ve been waiting for as long as I can remember’.”
