When Courtney and Jason met it was love at first click – the two met online! After a few short online chats they decided to meet for coffee and dessert. From there they chatted for hours over crepes and from that date on couldn’t get enough of each other. It wasn’t until their third anniversary that Jason decided to propose. They spent their anniversary dinner at a French restaurant in Chelsea, QC reminiscing about their three years together. When dessert arrived, out came the ring! Courtney was completely surprised – so much so that she forgot to say yes. Fortunately, Jason asked again and the two started planning their big day.
The couple said, “I do!” at Hatley Castle in Victoria, BC. Though the couple agrees the entire day was perfect, one of Courtney’s favourite moments was when she saw Jason for the first time that day right before their photos. The bride’s favourite wedding detail? “Seeing the arbour at our ceremony when I was coming down the aisle was one of my favourite moments,” she shared. “It was so amazingly beautiful. I couldn’t believe my parents cared so much about my fairy tale wedding to make it for us!”
