More and more, thanks to pandemic wedding restrictions, elopements have grown in popularity. Often, couples want to marry on their original date and have a larger celebration when restrictions are lifted. This pretty little ceremony has just enough details to turn a simple elopement into a big celebration.
Karin Wu planned this styled shoot and had this to say. “We wanted to create a shoot that showed that weddings have nothing to do with size. It’s all about the couple and the incredible love that makes their relationship what it is. Weddings look different right now so we wanted to share ways couples can still have all those exciting elements of their wedding day in an intimate, at home setting.
We wanted to bring in elements with our boho colour palette and opted with shades of terracotta, rust, pink and orange. We included a beautiful floral arrangement that doubled as a centrepiece and the ceremony décor. To tie in with our boho inspired palette, we included dried elements such as an adorable bunny tail in the boutonniere and dried leaves in the bride’s bouquet.”
