Focus on eyes

Great-looking eyes start with the eyebrow. Today, the trend is to a
fuller brow, but don’t let fashion dictate. The fullness of your brow
must fit the size of your face.

Major trends date back to the ultra-thin eyebrows of the 1930s (Marlene
Dietrich comes to mind) to the very full eyebrows of a young Brooke
Shields in the ’80s.

If you want thicker eyebrows, fake it with brow powders and pencils
(using short, fine strokes). Set unruly hairs with a clear brow gel.

One of the newer looks is having a strong arch, which is a sexy
throwback to the ’30s and ’40s, but the classic look is a gentle arch.

Emily Blunt Emily’s makeup is classic. She adds width to the appearance of her eyes with extra lashes at the outer edge of the eye and a subtle sweep of taupe eyeshadow that extends from the outside corner almost to the brow.	Hilary Duff Notice that her brows have a narrow arch, but she gives her eyes intensity with a strong eyeliner on her upper lids. For best results, use a liquid eyeliner – it has all-day staying power.
Carrie Underwood Her look is always near-natural; her brows have a rounded arch, but she gives her eyes great depth with extra lashes and more intense eyeshadow on just the upper lids.	Jennifer Hudson Her makeup look combines a dark eyeliner on her top lid (extended at the outside corners of the eye) with a creamy white highlighter above the eye to give her a fresh, young look with just a touch of drama.
