Kelly Addison and Matthew Robinson
This couple, along with 46 guests, made the journey from Kingston, Ont. to Florence, Italy and exchanged vows at the beautiful Villa Vignamaggio.
Favourite part of the day: According to Kelly, it was the ceremony, which she describes as, “so intimate and beautiful, as it was in Italian and translated to English.”
Did anything go wrong? “Just the rain the few days we were there,” says Kelly. “We obviously couldn’t change that, but it worked out as the rain cleared after the ceremony so we could take photos in the beautiful garden where the ceremony was originally to take place.”
Advice to couples planning a destination wedding: Kelly says, “Find a wedding planner with great references and that you trust to be your eyes and ears, and available for your ‘bridal moments’”.
