Collect drinks and munchables that most men love and have a man table at your reception. Your male guests will want to spend the evening parked alongside and don’t think the gals are going to skip the comfort foods.
A selection of imported beers is a good start. Have one beer on tap so guests can serve themselves.
A sandwich corner is ideal. Consider a hearty meatloaf sandwich on whole wheat bread and a pulled pork sandwich with choose-your-own condiments.
Have a rare roast of beef sitting on a wood carving board with a large carving knife ready for do-it-yourself action.
Rent a big popcorn machine so guests CAN scoop their own and drizzle hot butter on top.
Have hot french fries and provide paper cones, perfect for eating with one hand.
Bowls of chips and pretzels alongside slabs of cheese is a great addition.
And, to satisfy a sweet tooth, don’t forget to include jars of hard candy and chunks of chocolate.
Bucket and Whisk does a great man’s table (image above) at weddings with pretzels, bacon, popcorn, beer and candy moustaches. What groom wouldn’t feel at home here?
