Every woman should know how to put herself together in a hurry. She also needs to know how to pump up her look for special occasions. After all, brides want to look their best for a shower, a bachelorette, a honeymoon – when a professional makeup artist isn’t on hand. Michelle Rosen, a celebrity makeup artist with Judy Inc., says, “It’s important to know how to do a quickie makeup for a no-fuss feel, whether you’re on holiday or just for everyday. It takes practice to get the right look for you, but you can soon discover how to look fabulous in just a few minutes.”
It really does take just five minutes. And it’s a great daytime look. Come evening, go for glam by adding eyeshadow and eyeliner.
Here are Michelle’s suggestions:
- Apply a liquid foundation or tinted moisturizer all over your face and blend. It should be close to your natural skin tones. 30 SECONDS
- Use a concealer under your eyes, on your eyelids and to cover any blemishes. 1 MINUTE
- Lightly dust bronzer, doubling as a contour, across the hairline, cheekbones, jawline and nose. 30 SECONDS
- Smile and add blush to the apples of your cheeks. 30 SECONDS
- Using your fingertips, apply highlighter to cheekbones, brow bones, and upper lip. 1 MINUTE
- Add mascara. 1 MINUTE
- Smooth on a lipstick or gloss of your choice to complete your look. 30 SECONDS
You’re done!
