“Photographed at the Art Gallery of Hamilton’s Toby + Joey Tanembaum Pavillion, the evening’s setting embraces modern gallery grandeur with simplicity and refinement. From the moment guests arrive, they are immersed in romance,” says Douglas. “The space feels warm, romantically moody, elegant and timeless. “Our vision was to create a dreamy setting that was the epitome of sophistication, unique and unforgettable, where every detail felt thoughtful and intimate.”
The glowing candlelit atmosphere gives off a refined elegance among the art. The focal point of the pavilion is a dramatic, draped canopy, beneath which a baby grand piano glows in the dreamy candlelight below. Live piano accompaniment enhanced the romantic atmosphere.
The venue and iconic floor-to-ceiling windows act as a continuous modern art installation as guests enjoy views of the gallery’s sculpture garden. The communal dining tables – styled in warm mochas and elegant blacks – are enhanced by richly toned, abundant florals, flickering candlelight and thoughtfully curated tabletop details, elevating the dining experience.
Personalized menus and favour boxes, signage and decorative elements add to the ambience of the evening.”
