Maggie and Jeremy Bettinson exchanged vows before 90 guests at St. Jude’s Church in Oakville, Ont. The theme of romance was evident at their reception at the Paletta Mansion in Burlington.
The couple met at work but kept their love a secret
from colleagues. They say it felt like forever. When they finally
told everyone, they were immediately surrounded by the love
and support of their coworkers as well as family and friends.
When Jeremy proposed, it was at the same restaurant (even the same table) where they had their first date.
The newlyweds say that their favourite moment from their wedding day was driving
from the ceremony to the reception in a vintage limo. “It was
the only private moment we had all day. That time meant so
much to us,” says Maggie.
Even their favours were a labour of love. “We spent many
hours over a hot stove making strawberry jam which we
labelled JAM (Jeremy And Maggie),” says Jeremy.
