Stacy & Cole Braithwaite
Family matters: Aside from her amazing planner, Wassal, the bride enlisted the help of her sisters. “Planning my wedding was a dream I had when I was a little girl, and having the opportunity to plan it with my sisters was an even better reality,” says Stacy. “My sisters were an amazing part of the process helping me make décor and aesthetic decisions. My parents were also very helpful throughout the planning process.”
Budget battle: Staying on budget can be tricky, and this couple had some struggles. “Budget is one of the biggest factors in a wedding. For Cole and I, we knew a number we wanted to stay within, but it changed when we started sourcing items and realizing the cost of things,” says Stacy. “We went back to the drawing board and came up with a more realistic budget, made it our goal to stay within that number, and we did!”
Best words: Stacy says, “The moment that stood out the most to us, was when they announced us husband and wife. Hearing those words for the first time felt amazing.”
Advice: Stacy says, “Try to start planning early and get a wedding planner.”
