Cristina and Frank met at Moxie’s, but it took a few times of bumping into each other within that same week until Frank finally had the courage to approach Cristina. In fact, the couple had their first official date at Moxie’s where they first met. So Frank knew it was the perfect place to propose to Cristina when the time came.
Cristina had thought she was meeting Frank’s cousin for lunch to catch up. As the ladies were sitting having lunch, Frank’s cousin went to use the restroom and a few minutes later Frank appeared with a dessert, the same one the couple had shared on their first date four years prior. On the plate were the words ‘Will You Marry Me’ and suddenly Frank was down on one knee with a beautiful ring. The rest was history!
The bride’s favourite wedding moment was walking down the aisle. “It was very bittersweet as I had always remembered my father talking about this moment even as a little girl so it was very emotional having him give me away,” says Cristina. “Then I was so excited to see Frank for the first time – that was the moment we were making the promise to begin our new lives together as husband and wife.”
As for the couple’s favourite wedding detail? The bride simply says, “There’s just too many to choose from!”
