On the day they said “I do” Tamara and Richard celebrated their love with 130 guests. Their June 8th wedding day had a beautiful black & white and vintage theme.
Tamara and Richard met at university. Tamara was Richard’s boss at the coffee shop they both worked. They were friends for a long time until they both found themselves single and discovered that they were the perfect for each other.
Montreal has always been the couple’s favourite city and they visit once a year. So on a crisp winter night in Montreal Richard turned to Tamara and said “Want to know a secret? I want to marry you,” and pulled out a ring. Tamara said yes (of course) and the rest was history.
The couple’s favourite wedding moment was when Richard said his vows. “He was tearing up so I pulled out my great-grandmother’s vintage hanky and wiped his eyes, and he looked at me with more love than I had ever seen before,” says Tamara.
As for the couple’s favourite wedding details – that’s an easy one. “We absolutely loved our cake! It was four tiers with fresh peonies (in between and on top) and each tier was a different flavour,” says Tamara.
