This elopement shoot took place at a cottage on the Easten shores of Georgian Bay, Ontario. Specializing in eco-friendly weddings, Perrier Planning put together a team of eco-conscious vendors to showcase how beautiful sustainability can be.
A colourful photo wall, with Canadian-made pom poms, was set up for the couple to showcase their pride and resilience. A locally grown bunny tail grass crown sat atop the head of one bride and both beauties were holding locally sourced dried grass bouquets. Instead of a sit-down dinner the couple aimed to have a lavish grazing board for their eight guests to enjoy casually. The whole grazing board was made from 100% Ontario grown produce, meats, cheese and even chocolate strawberries. All the food was local, right down to the salvaged wood boards that it sat on. The welcome cocktail tea cups were filled with delicious drinks made from local spirits and all wine was from the Niagara region.
The brides both wore sustainably made rings from the Fair Trade Jewellery Co. and wore donated or rented dresses (that looked like new)! The makeup was cruelty free and vegan too! Paper products were a mix of hemp and local handmade paper.
