Dreams of visiting Turks and Caicos Islands are now a reality for Canadians as there are plenty of flight options for this non-stop fourhour journey. Air Canada and WestJet both fly year-round out of Toronto, and expand their services in high-season (winter) to either four or five flights per week as well as once-weekly service from Montreal and once weekly from Ottawa (AC only).
What to Do
Relax on powder-white sand, scuba dive and snorkel. Then, beyond the 390 kilometres of reef, see the spectacle of boats offering all kinds of water sports. Go wakeboarding, kite boarding or parasailing. View the underwater life on a glass-bottom boat. On land, golf, go horseback riding or visit the Grand Prix go-kart track. In the evening there are pub nights, movie nights, beach barbecues and other special themes provided by the myriad of over 70 restaurants. A local fish fry is held every Thursday night directly on Grace Bay Beach at the Bight Park. It is open to everyone for a great time! With 40 islands and cays, be sure to find time to visit some other islands by taking a short flight, a ferry or a boating excursion. For more information visit: turksandcaicostourism.com
