”Canon in D” and later, “Ave Maria”, rang out at St. Dimitrija Solunski Macedonian Orthodox Church to celebrate the marriage of Elena and George. The church’s traditional golden crowns were filled with coins, candies and rice by the end of the ceremony.
Le Parc Markham welcomed their 350 guests. The couple danced on chairs to the music of two live bands while surrounded by celebrating family and friends. They chose “How Deep is Your Love” by The Bee Gees for the first dance.
The couple went to both Florida and Paris for their honeymoon.
