Many men love the glamour of a woman’s long flowing locks – and many women love it too, even if it’s just for their wedding day. How to insert
Should you decide to do your own hair on your wedding day (major kudos to you!) here are Lina’s tips:
- Plan ahead. Extensions come in pieces or sections with one to four clips on each piece. The bundle with the most clips should fit securely across the widest part of the back of your head. Use smaller pieces on the sides and at the nape of the neck.
- Style hair and extensions separately if you’re planning to curl or straighten the extensions before attaching them.
- Section off your hair, starting at the nape, then tease your hair at the root to create volume so the extension will hold firmly.
- Hairspray the teased section underneath and on top.
- Clip the extension into the teased hair as close to the base as possible. When the extension is secure, work the pieces in with your natural hair to hide the clips.
