Jaclyn and Ryan rang in the new year right with their New Years Eve 2012 nuptials in Hamilton, Ontario. The wedding sparkled with glitz and glam and pewter grey, black and white accents, perfectly suited to the wedding date. The Bride describes it as a fairytale.
She says the happiest day of her life was when Ryan proposed. He surprised her with a private winery tour in Niagara on the Lake and later, pulled three roses from his jacket and asked her to marry him. He had booked a seven course meal and wine tasting and the couple enjoyed candles, roses and champagne.
Her favourite wedding detail were the place settings, which her mother spent hours making so each of their 180 guests could take one home. Weeks after the wedding, she says many of their guests have told them that they have the candles on display in their homes. They serve as a beautiful reminder of Jaclyn and Ryan’s special day.
