It was through mutual friends that Andrea first met Gregory, however they didn’t go on their first date until a couple years later. After dating for a while, and Andrea had sensed a proposal, Gregory caught her off guard when he came home after work one evening with a bouquet of red roses and a sign that read “Will You Marry Me?” The proposal was nice and intimate which, according to Andrea, is “true to Greg’s character.”
The ceremony took place on October 8th, 2016 at St. Angela Merici Church in Windsor, Ontario, where the couple hosted 320 guests.
Andrea always knew that she wanted her wedding to be very clean and classic, with ivory and gold as the central colours that helped emulate her theme of timeless elegance. Touches of black were also used in the invitations and the bridesmaid dresses.
After being engaged for a year and a half, Andrea says that seeing Gregory for the first time as she walked down the aisle is a moment that she will never forget, and that it was “worth the wait.”
When it comes to sharing some wedding day advice, this bride says to be open to the fact that some things may not go exactly as planned. While you might envision everything in a certain way, things might be a bit different, and that’s okay. “At the end of the day you have to take in every moment and enjoy it with your new husband.”
