Ella and Tony Pavelic met four years ago, both divorced with small children. “Neither of us expected to fall in love or to be married again,” says the bride.
But that’s exactly what happened when the couple exchanged vows on April 20, 2013 before all their guests, including their four children, Tyler, Jenna, Jacob and Natasha. “The joining of the two families has been incredible, for both of us. Everyone gets along – for the most part, of course!”
Tony and Ella met on the dance floor when she was celebrating her birthday. Both of them having lived through a very similar life experience, quickly found that there really is a second chance at real love. The couple waited for almost a year (dating in secret from their kids) until they introduced their families.
Tyler (13), Jenna (10), Jacob (9) and Natasha (6) very quickly embraced their extended family. Their home is very busy and very loud….with lots of laughter as they grow and create many memories together.
The couple’s favorite moment on their wedding day was the ceremony. “We really wanted to signify that we were officially a family,” says Ella. “This wedding was more about the joining of 2 families. We made pledges to each others kids to guide them through life, which is what made this very special for the entire family.”
